The Feasts of the Lord

The Feasts of the Lord

God's Prophetic Calendar From Calvary to the Kingdom. Israel's feasts are infinitely more important than just a series of cultural observances. These feasts are appointed by the Lord, and they are owned by the Lord. He calls them my feasts. Together they form God's prophetic calendar, outling the work of history's most important person -- Jesus, the Messiah.

Christianity Reconsidered

Christianity Reconsidered

This is a great book. I have been studying the Jewish roots of my faith for quite some time now and I have learned so much from this book. My husband is a Presbyterian minister and I want him to read this. As a believer in Yeshua, this book and many other Messianic Jewish books have enriched my faith as a Christian and made Yeshua's teaching more easy to understand. Jesus was a Jew. He lived as a Jew and taught as other Jewish rabbis did. I am having many A-HA moments in this book. It is definitely worth the read.

From Sabbath to Sunday

From Sabbath to Sunday

From Sabbath to Sunday is a translation and an adaptation of my Italian doctoral dissertation, originally presented at and published by the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1977. The investigation establishes that the change from Saturday to Sunday began approximately one century after the death of Christ, as a result of an interplay of political, social, pagan and Christian factors. The change in the day of rest and worship was not merely a change of names or of numbers, but rather a change of meaning, authority and experience. Essentially it was a change from a Holy Day into a holiday. From Sabbath to Sunday has the distinction of being the first book written by a non-Catholic ever to be published by a Pontifical press with the Catholic imprimatur (approval). The book has already been reprinted fourteen times in English and has been translated in several other languages. Hundreds of scholars of different persuasions have praised this book as a definitive treatment of the early history of the Lords Day. I received a gold medal from Pope Paul VI for earning the academic distinction of summa cum laude in my research and school work at the Pontifical Gregorian University, in Rome, Italy.

Too Long in the Sun

Too Long in the Sun

This book shows what is wrong with the church: paganism infiltration of the True faith in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). It shows how paganism was introduced into the church from the beginning and shows what is now called "christianity" is a far cry from the truth taught in the early church in the first century. It is a hard message for most and most will reject it. Yeshua said that the road is NARROW and FEW will find it. He knew paganism would take over what is called Christianity. paganism even took over in the Holy Temple in Ancient Israel (Ezekiel chapter 8) and they told the prophets Adonai (God) sent to go away, that they will worship God THEIR way. They refused to listen to the truth just like the so-called "church" refuses to listen to the truth today. I HIGHLY recommend this book and will be purchasing more copies for family and friends that are still entrenched in romanism (through the baptist "church")

Sabbath to Sunday

Sabbath to Sunday

What are the Biblical and historical reasons for Sunday-keeping? Can the Sabbath commandment be rightly invoked to enjoin Sunday observance? How can the pressing problem of the widespread profanation of the Lord's Day be solved?
Dr. Samuele Bacchiochhi answers these and other questions by investigating the Biblical basis and the historical genesis of Sunday observance. Following the order of redemptive history, he begins his investigation with the Messianic typology of the Sabbath in the Old Testament and proceeds to consider how the Sabbath found fullfillment in the redemptive mission of Christ. By examining the Sabbath material of the Gospels it is shown how Christ made the Sabbath the fitting symbol of His redemption: a day to commemorate the divine blessings of salvation, especially by expressing kindness and mercy toward others.

Epidemic

Epidemic - Examining the Infected Roots of Judaism and Christianity

This writing covers so many subjects, it was difficult to "place" it under just one category. Russ Houck covers changes to the Sabbath and the Feasts brought in under Constantine, the doctrine of the Trinity, Law Keeping, the Reformation, Messianic Judaism, and much more. Very informative!
